Stuart Price (born September 9, 1977) is a British electronic musician, musician, songwriter and Grammy-winning music producer three times known for his work with artists including Madonna, The Killers, New Order, Kylie Minogue, Take That example, Missy Elliott, Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, Brandon Flowers, Gwen Stefani, Seal, Keane, Frankmusic, Hard-Fi, Crushed, and Everything Everything. His actions included his own band Zoot Woman (with Adam Blake and Johnny Blake), Les Rythmes Digitales, Paper Faces, Man With Guitar , Thin White Dove (not to be confused with David Bowie's persona of the same name), and the parodic French moniker Jacques Lu Cont (though he actually grew up in Reading, English).

Solo and group work
Price was born in Bedale, North Yorkshire, but grew up in Reading, Berkshire. His musical career began with two actions working simultaneously, releasing music on a London-based label, Wall Of Sound. He formed Zoot Woman with Adam Blake and Johnny Blake, and their 12th debut, Sweet To The Wind EP, was released in 1995. Around the same time, under the pseudonym Jacques Lu Cont, Price made music as Les Rythmes Digitales. the name as a reference to the explosion of demand for French homes in Britain during the 1990s, Prices even went so far as to conduct interviews with British journalists in France through translators.In the interview from around this time, Price also claimed that he grew up listening to classical music exclusively, until one day meet Dare's album by the Human League.
The first Les Rhythmes Digitales album, Exemption , was released in 1996. The single, "Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat)" , follows the following year. It was re-released in 1999, reaching # 60 on the UK Singles Chart, and was included in the album that year, Darkdancer . Strongly influenced by the 1980s dance music, Darkdancer will be included in the Vice magazine's 99 Greatest Dance Albums of All Time list.
Zoot Woman released their debut album, Living in a Magazine, in 2001, following it in 2003 with an eponymous album. In the same year, Price released mix album DJ FabricLive.09, part of a mix-up series of London club Fabric, under his Jacques Lu Cont. He made his first original release with the name of the following year; "... And Dance" is a single that features a General Title. Another Zoot Woman album, What Things They Used, was released in 2009, and the next single Jacques Lu Cont followed, released both in physical format and as a free download from SoundCloud.

As a producer
Prices have produced, and sometimes written together, many songs for popular artists. The price has also remixed and reproduced many songs under its own name as well as the names of Thin White Duke (originally used by David Bowie), Jacques Lu Cont, and Les Rythmes Digitales. Other aliases include Man with Guitar and Face Paper (alias for him and Adam Blake from Zoot Woman band). Price remixes are characterized by team-lead beats with arpeggios, riffs, and faded vocal lines and filtered throughout the song for a climactic effect. He preferred to keep the original vocal settings of the song and contextualize the lyrical content in creating his new version.
Working with Madonna
Price is best known for his work with the tenth studio album Madonna Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005). She began collaborating with Madonna as music director for her 2001 Sinking World Tour after remixing some of the songs on Music album through Mirwais. He changed the role for the 2004 Re-Invention World Tour and the Confessions Tour 2006. The price was made remixes for the single album "Hung Up", "Sorry" (under Man with alias Guitar), "Get Together", and "Jump", as well as songs the album "I Love New York" and "Let It Will Be" (under the alias Paper Faces). Price co-wrote the song "X-Static Process" for the album Madonna 2003 American Life . Price has also replicated Madonna's "Hollywood" songs from American Life and "Miles Away" from Hard Candy's album . Madonna chose a remix of "Hollywood" for her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Missy Elliott.
Working with The Killers
Price work with The Killers begins with a remix of their hit single "Mr. Brightside", released under the name Thin White Duke. Furthermore, the price remixes the song "When You Were Young", the first single from The Killers album "Sam's Town". The price produced two re-recorded songs to release the B-sides album The Killers, Sawdust : "Leave the Bourbons on the Shelf" and "Sweet Talk". His remix "Mr. Brightside" appeared as a bonus song on the release. Price went on to produce The Killers third studio album, "Day & Age", was released on November 24, 2008. He also made an extended remix of the main single "Human" released under the name Thin White Duke. Price also worked for The Killers vocal solo debut album, Brandon Flowers, producing most of the songs in it, including the second single "Only the Young". The album was released on September 6 in the UK and Ireland and September 14 in the US and Canada.
The Killers album, Battle Born , contains two songs produced by Price, and remix Jacques Lu Cont from the album's first track, "Flesh and Bone".
Price also produced the song "Just Another Girl", a new song on Killers 'Direct Hits' compilation album.
In the deluxe version of The Killers' latest album, Wonderful Wonderful, Price made a remix of the single album, "The Man".
Working with Pet Shop Boys
Price is the music director on the Pandemonium tour, and produced their 2013 album Electric which is highly acclaimed by critics and reached Number 3 on the UK Albums Chart - their highest album since 1993. He also toured with them at least at several events in the Electric tour (Las Vegas and Oakland). The resulting price is Super . It was released in 2016 for positive reviews.
Other production jobs
Price is an album producer on the fifth studio album Seal System , released in November 2007. He also co-wrote a few songs on the album. Price was among Keane's Perfect Symmetry album producers, released in October 2008.
Prices are also reported to work with Bernard Sumner of New Order on "album synthesizer". However, it appears the project has been suspended
Price co-produced the Scissor Sisters album "Night Work" which was released on June 28, 2010, entitled Night Work . The first song to be released from the album is "Invisible Light". The first official single from the album is "Fire With Fire", followed by "Any Which Way".
Price is the executive producer for Kylie Minogue's 11th studio album Aphrodite released on July 5, 2010. On June 28th, the hit single "All the Lovers" was released, and then "Get Outta My Way", which remixed by Price into an additional version.
In 2010, Price produced a Take That Progress studio that saw Robbie Williams return to the band. Progress was the best-selling album of 2010 and the UK's second fastest selling album of all time.
In 2011, Price worked as a producer on Killer Sounds's 2011 Hard-Fi album. He worked with the band for the second single "Fire in the House".
In May 2012, the fourth Scissor Sisters album Magic Hour was released with two songs produced by Stuart Price: "The Secret Life of Letters" and "Somewhere".
For the London 2012 Olympics, Price was asked to make the theme song a keystone of what director Danny Boyle calls "sonic branding" of the game. Meant to be played in several places, Price is set to create a modular cut, "Different elements can be layered on top of each other to create a fast version for velodrome, something slow for the background on TV, or a triumphant version for a medal ceremony."
In 2014, Price produced several songs on Take That's seventh studio album.
In 2015, Price produced a critically acclaimed studio album "Get to Heaven" by the Manchester-based band Everything Everything, called Digital Spy as "the contender for this year's album". Q was also awarded a 5 star album.

In 2017, Prices are produced with many different people. His first attempt was with Kiesza on his 2017 single, titled "Dearly Beloved", which is expected to be the lead single on her upcoming second album. He is also credited as Jacques Lu Cont while meremixing The Knocks's single "Trouble", featuring vocals from Absofacto. The song became the second single to be released from their fifth long drama, titled Testify .
Remixes
The price of Coldplay's single "Viva la Vida" remix, was released on the band's website as a Thin White Duke remix. Price has also produced and mastered the tracks for the debut album Frankmusik, one of which is "3 Little Words". The song was released as a single on "3 Little Words" EP. He provides two Thin White Duke remixes to release the 2009 single Depeche Mode, "False".
In 2009, the price remixed "It's Not My Problem" for Sneaky Sound System under the alias Thin White Duke, as well as doing remixes for Depeche Mode "Wrong", Fires Friendly "" Jump in the Pool ", R̮'̦yksopp's" It Should Be It "and, most recently, Muse's" Undisclosed Desires. Awards
The price won its first Grammy Award in 2004 for its No Doubt "It's My Life" remix produced under Thin White Duke moniker. In 2005, he was nominated for two Grammys: one for the production of the New Order "Guilty Is a Useless Emotion" and the second for his remix of The Killers "Mr. Brightside". She won her second Grammy in 2006 for her remix of Coldplay's "Talk" (as Thin White Duke). She was also nominated in 2007 for Best Dance Recording with Madonna on the single "Get Together" from Confessions on a Dance Floor . The price won its third Grammy in 2007 for Best Electronic/Dance Album for Madonna's Confessions on the Dance Floor .
In 2011, Price won the Music Week Award for Best Producer of the Year.
June 2015, sees Price coming into Pete Tong Hall of Fame.
