Screwdriver is a popular alcoholic beverage made with orange juice and vodka. While basic beverages are just two ingredients, there are many variations; the most commonly made with one part vodka, one part of all types of orange soda, and one part orange juice. Many variations have different names in different parts of the world. The International Bartender Association has set this cocktail as the IBA Official Cocktail.

History
This drink appears in the literature as early as 1938.
The screwdriver was mentioned in 1944: "Screwdrivers - a drink mixed with vodka and orange juice and supposedly found by American aviators"; and in 1949: "The newest Yankee Potion of vodka and orange juice, called a 'screwdriver'".
