Paulo Jorge da Silva ConceiÃÆ'§ÃÆ' £ o (born December 29, 1993 in Coimbra) is a Portuguese high jumper who has competed for S.L. Benfica since 2011.

With 2.20 meters (7 ft 2.6 inches), Paulo ConceiÃÆ'§ÃÆ' o o holds the Portugal U-23 record in a men's high jump. His record of 2.20m - in Lisbon on July 16, 2014 - was the third best in national history, and only Rafael GonÃÆ'§real achieved a higher leap, which he did on three occasions. He is also a record holder of U-23 domestics with a 2.16 m (2014) mark.

Paulo ConceiÃÆ'§ÃÆ' £ o has a silver medal from the Mediterranean U23 Championships, in the town of Aubagne (France, near Marseille).

At a young age he practiced all the sports at school: gymnastics, volleyball, badminton, handball... but his most distinguished basketball. When he won a Complete Athlete youth tournament, at school he had gotten good results in the high jump and had been thinking of dedicating himself more seriously to athletics when he found professor Paulo Barrigana.

He joined the group Paulo Barrigana and made great progress in this discipline. In 2011 he jumped over 2 million and just three years later Paulo ConceiÃÆ'§ÃÆ' o o has represented Portugal at the Mediterranean U23 Championship, at Aubagne, where he became a silver medalist with 2.15 million.

Paulo ConceiÃÆ'§ÃÆ' £ o also represent Portugal in European Athletics U23 Championships Tampere 2013 (Finland) at Ibero American Championships SÃÆ'  £ o Paulo 2014 (Brazil), at the European Championship Under 23 Dublin 2014 (Ireland) and at the European Athletics Team Championship of Tallinn 2014 (Estonia).
